I never imagined I would be here—starting over with my three children, trying to build a safe place for us to call home.
For 15 years, I lived in a situation that no one should have to endure. It was painful, it was overwhelming, and for a long time, it felt like there was no way out. But when you’re a mother, something inside you refuses to give up. You find strength you didn’t know you had, especially when your children are depending on you.
Today, I stand with my children—ages 12, 7, and 4, fighting to be free, but facing a new challenge. We have no home of our own. Right now, we’ve been blessed with the kindness of a relative who has offered us space on their property. With your help, we are hoping to build a small, safe room where we can begin again—where my children can sleep peacefully, feel secure, and just be kids.
We are not asking for luxury. We are simply asking for the basic materials needed—blocks, cement, roofing, windows—anything that can help us create a solid, safe space. A place where fear no longer lives. A place where healing can begin.
Family and friends have already shown us so much love and support, and I am deeply grateful. But the truth is, we still need more help to make this possible. Every contribution, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to stability.
Life has a way of sending the right people into our lives when we need them the most. Maybe that person is you.
